Last month on September 14 Steve Jobs once again stood on the stage and introduced the new set of iPods. He did not change the Shuffle (besides adding a few colors) and surprisingly lowed the iPods Classic's memory capacity. Previously there was an 80 GB model and a 160 GB model. Apple got rid of the 80 GB and lowered the 160. Next comes the iPod Touch. Most of the updates of the iPod Touch were basically to make it more like the iPhone such as the side buttons and speakers. But surprisingly enough Apple did not include a camera to this update. This is mostly due their policy that they don't think you need a camera on your iPod because most Mp3 players don't have one but almost all phones. Apple also lowered the price of the iPod mostly because of complaints about them lowering the price of the iPhone and now it was cheaper then the iPod Touch. Lowering the price of the iPod Touch, which goes against another one of apple's policies. When asked previously about Lowering the price of the iPhone and iPod Touch as well as updates Steve Jobs stated that, "They run for the iPod Touch and iPhone differently, When you get an iPhone you pay most of the price when you buy it, When you get an iPod Touch you pay most of the price in updates." It looks like apple changed their policy, because they never actually did lower the price of the iPhone. In fact they raised it. Instead of paying the money when you buy it, you pay it to AT&T who sends it to apple. This is why to buy an unactivated phone costs the same as the original price. So all the price drop can tell us about the iPod Touch is that you are probably going to have to pay a couple more bucks for updates. Last but not least apple totally redid the Nano. They added an accelerometer, which lets you play games and listen to your music in a funky way and microphone support, so if you have the iPhone headphones you can record on your music to. Apple went back to their old Nano design being tall and narrow. To do this apple had to rotate the screen in order to keep it the same size. Now you will rotate you Nano to go threw cover flow and watch movies.
