Today apple announced several things at the keynote address. First of all there is a new Macbook Pro 17 inch with and 8 hour battery life. The only disadvantage of this is that you cannot replace the battery. It only also charges 1000 times before you should send the laptop to apple to have them change the battery.

Another new thing is iLife 09' including the new iPhoto which has a face recognition feature and GPS compatability. It knows where you took a picture and who is in it. Also new iWeb, GarageBand, iDVD, and iTunes.

There is also a new iWork which is more compatible and great in other ways.

Let's focus once more on iTunes. It now has HD downloads as well as a new visualizer and Enhanced Accessibility which means that iTunes 8 is now screen reader friendly on both Mac and PC. Manage your iTunes library using VoiceOver in Mac OS X Leopard or Window-Eyes for Windows XP and Windows Vista. Or use your screen reader to purchase or download content from the iTunes Store. This is great for disabled people who can't see.

Now, you didn't think that's it did you? You can also upload anything you are working in iWork to something called iWork.com. This is an online document viewer. It looks like iWork but is in HTML. You cannot edit a document online but you can lieve a note or comment. This is great but not as good as google docs in my opinion. But you can download the document that is online and edit it. You just can't reupload the document. Not good at other people editing the document. This is currently the beta but should be even better soon.

With iTunes now you can download any song DRM-free! This means that you can make as many copies as you want. This is great for people with more than five computers or people who want to pirate music. Either way it is great. And also now on iTunes Wifi Music store on your iPhone, you can download songs over edge, 3G, or even GSM in lower coverage areas. It is easy through iTunes to make all of your music DRM-free!
